When it comes to designing for a brand, it is the lens in which all consumers will see you as a company. Good design makes a brand persona that feels almost human-like, which ultimately increases key metrics and drives more revenue for the company. When good design is put at the forefront, companies themselves can begin to understand what their company is and what it represents, resulting in a consistent design language that is recognisable to customers when they see it in all uses of applications. Having an empathetic understanding of your demographic is key in creating something that people will resonate with.
